ABSTRACT
The mechanism of activation inactive renin was studied in normal human plasma. molecular weight active and those before after were analyzed by sephadex gel filtration. Active plasma had a 48,000 +/- 1000. Trypsin treatment cold activated 54,000 apparently did not change its activation. "Cryoactivation" possible only when whole used. When the fractionated filtration, cryoactivation observed any fractions. Cryoactivation requires certain factor(s) contained some Plasma kallikrein is likely to be major factor required for renin, whereas other factors may also participate this mechanism.
