ABSTRACT
Various facets of activation inactive renin by acidification or cold exposure were investigated in normal human plasma. The acid obtained titration was usually less than that dialysis method, but varied from 41% to 122% the latter. phase accounted for about 70% total achieved combined effects and alkaline phases on average, not affected any inhibitors serine, thiol carboxyl protease, whereas serine protease suppressed both plasma kallikrein activation. A different mode suggested some difference mechanism between cryoactivation. part cryoactivation independent action kallikrein. activated either without concomitant reinactivated removal pH temperature, recovered repeating exposure. When active had been produced, it irreversibly. It appears unlikely irreversible is taking place circulation where practically no present.
