ABSTRACT
A male aged in his 30s was referred to our hospital for examination and treatment after an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy revealed extramural compression. Ultrasonography a mass lesion approximately 40 mm maximum diameter, with cyst inside the posterior wall of fornix. The interior mosaic-like, part it suspected be continuous fourth layer. Following biopsy, preoperative diagnosis gastric plexiform angiomyxoid myofibroblastic tumor made. laparoscopic partial gastrectomy performed both pathological treatment. malignant glomus subsequently made based on results various immunohistochemical stains. Since then, no recurrence has been observed during follow-ups. Malignant tumors are exceedingly rare; however, they can locally aggressive have potential metastasize. Further reports analyses needed better understand this disease.
