ABSTRACT
Bruchomyiinae is a subfamily of the Psychodidae (Diptera) with 57 extant and 19 extinct described species (Wagner & Stuckenberg, 2012, 2016). The core distribution area Neotropical region almost 50 in four genera. Six two genera are known from Afrotropical region, one genus Oriental (Polseela et al., 2018; Wagner In Nearctic Palearctic regions absent, occurrences only along southern borders sub-tropical climates.
