Hijmania, a replacement name for Maria (Moraceae)

ABSTRACT
The genus Maria Vianna was proposed by et al. (2013: 290) for a small group of the tribe Dorstenieae (Moraceae), components undergrowth in rainforests tropical Africa. However, as authors chose later homonym, M.D.M.Vianna is an illegitimate name (Art. 53.1 ICN, McNeill 2012). This discovered after checking nomenclature fossil plants, which suggested Jefferson Prado. It confirmed that I.A.Dobruskina (1980: 92) valid gymnosperm (Peltaspermaceae). In accordance with Code, new generic Hijmania replacement name. New combinations four species assigned (2013) to are here under Hijmania. maintains honorific Hijman, her great contribution knowledge Moraceae.
