<strong>Typification of Kerner names in <em>Gentiana</em> sect. <em>Endotricha</em> Froel. (currently classified as <em>Gentianella</em> Moench, Gentianaceae) </strong>

Anton Kerner together with his brother Joseph described five taxa of Gentianella, then classified as species within Gentiana sect. Endotricha. Of these, four were based on material distributed in seminal Flora exsiccata Austro-Hungarica series. In the following decades a multitude names was created this intricate group due to ecotypic polymorphism. We here provide lectotypes, currently accepted and synonymies these coined by brothers: austriaca, G. norica, praecox, rhaetica sturmiana.
