ABSTRACT
The Southern and Southeastern regions of Brazil present the highest species richness Sisyrinchium, taxa are mainly distributed in Atlantic Forest Biome. Here, three new belonging to Sisyrinchium sect. Viperella from this biome described: S. caratuvense is endemic high altitude grasslands eastern Paraná, usneoides campo rupestre phytophysiognomy southern Minas Gerais, iguazuanum has a wider distribution, occurring western Santa Catarina Paraná (Brazil), Misiones (Argentina). Descriptions, illustrations, comparisons related conservation status provided.
