ABSTRACT
Zamia multidentata is described and illustrated here as a new species from the Amazon basin, state of Acre, Brazil. The shares morphological similarities with Amazonian Z. hymenophyllidia, urep, to which it compared. combination slender (to 6.2 cm) caulescent stems, strongly serrulate elliptic leaflets long acuminate tips pronounced adaxially raised longitudinal crease, well seed strobili peduncles (15 cm +) flat megasporophylls distinguish all other known in genus.
