ABSTRACT
Two new endemic Isoetes from Zhejiang, China, changleensis (2n = 22) and yuhangensis 22), are described illustrated. The morphological characteristics of I. changleensis, such as the presence tuberculate irregularly rugulate megaspores having a broad equatorial band with densely ornamentation, make it easy to distinguish longpingii. has fibrous perispores, which sets apart closely related species. To species explore their phylogenetic position, this study employed complete nuclear genomes plastomes. Both proposed obtained high support in analysis On basis traits, chromosome information, molecular evidence chloroplast DNA, these two taxa regarded diploid Isoetes.
