ABSTRACT
Interesting species with characteristic features of the section Aegacantha were collected from Pakistan, one new and record are described reported. Astragalus saifullahaicus sp. nov. is close to A. hostilis, but differs latter by longer internodes, broadly- triangular stipules, elliptic obovate leaflets cuneate base, obtuse apex, often mucronate, racemes 2-flowered legumes oblong elliptic, densely covered appressed hairs a slightly curved, 3–5.5 mm long beak. Taxonomic descriptions, distribution map, anatomy, palynology, seed micromorphology IUCN threat category newly presented. nigrocalyx reported as for flora Pakistan.
