ABSTRACT
We examined microscope slides from Horning and Iharos tardigrade collections Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington Hungarian Natural History Budapest with species the Macrobiotus hufelandi group. Based on this material we describe one new species, horningi sp. nov., re-describe two others, M. maculatus comb. nov. Iharos, 1973 rawsoni et al., 1978. With oral cavity armature patagonicus type chorion type, is most similar to: personatus Biserov, 1990, sandrae Bertolani & Rebecchi, 1993, serratus 1996, sottilei Pilato 2012, terminalis 1993 vladimiri 2011, but it differs them morphological morphometric traits. eggs biserovi denticulatus Dastych, 2002, macrocalix ramoli 2005, characters.
