ABSTRACT
In this paper, Zhong Guan iron ore is used as raw material. By adjusting the content of lime, magnesium powder and bentonite, effect law different SiO2, MgO alkalinity on compressive strength pellet under low silicon conditions was studied, And change systematically analyzed from microscopic morphology structure perspective. The results study show that increasing roasting temperature can effectively improve pellets. At SiO2 content, mainly cemented by hematite continuous crystals in not obvious. With increase alkalinity, amount liquid phase flux pellets increases during roasting, calcium ferrite system with higher than eutectic appears, which improves strength; mass fraction, increases, only inhibits formation pellets, but also oxidation magnetite. Because greater magnetite hematite, too much will affect bonding inside pellet, lead to structural deterioration reduce strength. Therefore, first then decreases. above provides theoretical guidance reference for investigation low-silica magnesia fluxed
