ABSTRACT
Catalyst containing d-block transition metals were synthesised by combustion method and directly used as catalytic template to grow carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in Chemical vapour deposition (CVD) technique. The activities of these studied compared their efficiency obtain high yield CNTs. morphology structure the are evaluated X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), High resolution transmission microscope (HRTEM) RAMAN spectroscopy. According HRTEM multilayer helical shaped CNTs with smaller diameter between 4–5 nm. Raman spectra also suggest that obtained multiwalled well graphitization. was achieved because very fine activity Fe-Ni alloy rather than other metal Co Cu catalysts.
