ABSTRACT
Bacterial contamination in hospital environments is a significant concern for patient admissions. Aiming to reduce contamination, titanium dioxide film (TiO 2 ) the anatase phase has been prepared on surface of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tubes. The PVC tube material was used study film’s effectiveness inhibiting bacterial growth and cell viability. morphology composition deposited films were investigated using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) map. In addition, Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) XRD diffractogram analyze phase, respectively. adhesion TiO substrate determined Scotch™ tape-test according ASTM: D3359-09, 2010, analyzed by MEV-FEG technique EDS viability performed with Staphylococcus aureus , L929 strain mouse fibroblasts. results ALD demonstrate good adherence
