ABSTRACT
Recent studies have suggested that autistic perception can be attributed to atypical Bayesian inference; however, it remains unclear whether the inference originates in perceptual or post-perceptual stage both. This study examined serial dependence orientation at and response stages neurotypical adult groups. Participants comprised 17 23 adults. They reproduced of a Gabor stimulus every odd trial its mirror even trial. In similar-stimulus session, right-tilted was always presented; hence, presumed occur because perceived similar throughout session. similar-response right- left-tilted patches were alternately thus orientations similar. Significant observed only adults for whereas both groups Moreover, no significant correlation between sensory profile. These findings suggest individuals possess experiences their daily lives are not attributable inference.
