ABSTRACT
Measles remains one of the most important causes worldwide morbidity and mortality in children. virus (MeV) replicates extensively lymphoid tissue deaths are due to other infectious diseases associated with MeV-induced loss circulating antibodies pathogens. To determine whether remdesivir, a broad-spectrum direct-acting antiviral, affects antibody pathogens, we expanded VirScan technology detect both human macaque We measured reactivity MeV non-MeV viral peptides using plasma from MeV-infected macaques that received remdesivir either as post-exposure prophylaxis (d3-14, PEP) or late treatment (d11-22, LT) comparison were not treated. Remdesivir PEP, but LT, limited PEP also response decrease magnitude breadth epitopes recognized. LT had little effect on MeV-specific affected response. Therefore, early, late, measles antiviral prevents pathogens decreases MeV.
