ABSTRACT
Abstract A dataset of 282 meteorological stations including all the ordinary and national basic/reference surface north China is used to analyze urbanization effect on air temperature trends. These are classified into rural, small city, medium large metropolis based updated information total population specific station locations. The significance urban warming effects regional average trends estimated using monthly mean series group datasets, which undergo inhomogeneity adjustment. authors found that largest annual occurs for large-city group, with being 0.16°C (10 yr)−1, smallest small-city only 0.07°C yr)−1. similar assessment made stations, has been widely in climate change analyses China. results indicate series, as calculated data from significantly impacted by warming, trend be 0.11°C contribution reaches 37.9%. It therefore obvious that, current China, or probably country a whole, there still remain warming. bias anomaly corrected. After increasing rate brought down 0.29°C yr)−1 0.18°C approaches 0.72°C period analyzed.
