ABSTRACT
Abstract A practical method for instrumental calibration and aerosol optical properties retrieval based on coherent Doppler lidar (CDL) sun photometer is presented in this paper. To verify its feasibility accuracy, applied into three field experiments 2019 2020. In method, multiwavelength (440, 670, 870, 1020 nm) depth (AOD) from sun-photometer measurements are used to estimate AOD at 1550 nm calibrate integrated CDL backscatter signal. Then it validated by comparing the retrieved calibrated signal that measurements. Good agreement between them with correlation of 0.96, RMSE 0.0085, mean relative error 22% found. From comparison results these experiments, verified be an effective reference instrument return measurement feasible. It expected promote study flux transport mechanism planetary boundary layer widely deployed CDLs.
