ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to examine the comorbidity and communality risk factors associated with major depressive disorder anxiety disorders in later life. METHOD: A random age- sex-stratified community-based sample (N=3,056) elderly (age 55–85 years) Netherlands studied. two-stage screening design used, Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale as a instrument National Institute Mental Health Diagnostic Interview Schedule criterion instrument.
