Improving the Management of Maternal Mental Health with Digital Health Care

ABSTRACT
Objectives Digital health solutions have the potential to improve maternal mental care. The objective of this study is determine if utilization a digital platform, Maven, associated with improved management among peripartum people history disorders and which components associate outcomes. Methods Participants in retrospective cohort analysis (n = 1561) accessed Maven as an employer‐sponsored benefit enrolled during their pregnancy delivered from January 2020 through September 2022. completed surveys at enrollment, including mood disorder, post‐delivery. includes online articles, asynchronous synchronous virtual classes, app‐based screenings, access allied professional maternity care providers via messaging telehealth appointments. Quantile g–computation was used estimate effects multi‐utilization exposures on reports postpartum depression (PPD) health. Results Multi‐utilization exposure mixture models demonstrated that increasing use resources by one quartile increased odds reporting helped users manage (aOR: 12.58 [95% CI: 6.74, 23.48]) not self‐reported incidence PPD 1.30 0.52, 3.27]). Care advocate appointments, provider messages, article reads were positively management. Conclusions platforms, such may play important role managing conditions pregnant high risk for PPD.
