ABSTRACT
Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of combined treatment with thrombus aspiration intracoronary tirofiban in patients acute myocardial infarction (MI), elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: Patients undergoing PCI during recovery from MI were randomized into two groups; group received tirofiban; control conventional PCI. Baseline clinical characteristics, postoperative blood flow (thrombolysis [TIMI] grade), TIMI perfusion (TMP) grade, no/slow reflow rate cardiac function (measured by echocardiography 1 month postoperatively) evaluated. Major adverse event bleeding complications surgery (and at year also Results: A total 80 included. Postoperatively, number grade 3 mean TMP both significantly higher, was lower, versus group. Echocardiography indicated that improved compared There no major either study Conclusion: Thrombus effective relatively well tolerated.
