ABSTRACT
Ratings of the dangerousness 360 men in a maximum security psychiatric institution were obtained from experienced forensic clinicians. These ratings well predicted (R = .61) historical, offense, and in-hospital data. Seriousness outcome scores based upon an 11-year minimum follow-up time on 85 additional released same institution; this sample was constructed so that entire range outcomes, good to commission very serious crimes against persons, represented.
