ABSTRACT
Data regarding the professional reading habits of pharmacists in United States are lacking. The purpose this pilot study was to investigate whether read publications and assess other aspects their habits.In December 2010, surveys were distributed participating 2 educational seminars New York City. main outcome measures percentages who regularly (at least monthly), specific read, perceived value impact reading.A total 184 surveyed. Of 122 (66%) respondents, 112 (92%) reported regularly. these, 97 (87%) indicated titles with 4 most frequently being Drug Topics (n = 73; 75%), Pharmacy Times 67; 69%), US Pharmacist 60; 62%), Pharmacist's Letter 48; 49%). All respondents that positively impacted practice, 121 (99%) important.The recognized by surveyed pharmacists; likely contributed high rate study.
