ABSTRACT
Purpose: The current study aimed to investigate the effects of a trauma recovery program named “My Special Program for Acute Burn Survivors (SPA)” in Korean burn patients. Methods: This was randomized pretest-posttest control group that included patients with an acute injury. Participants intervention ( n = 42) completed “SPA” program, whereas those 43) received standard care. baseline and follow-up measures assessed perceived stress, psychological distress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Results: results revealed statistically significant change regardless assigned group.
