ABSTRACT
This study investigates the potential impact of gender-role attitudes and congruity on gaps in research regarding perceived ability women to coach men. An online instrument was sent via email 236 students recruited from an introductory sport management course at a large public institution Southeast. Based previous studies, this sought test whether gender alone would influence hiring recommendation, perceptions job-fit, capability female applicants for coaching positions men's college basketball.
