ABSTRACT
Controversy exists over the possible beneficial effects of hypertonic saline (HS) in pulmonary inflammatory response, particularly neutrophil immunomodulation [1,2]. This study was designed to investigate benefits HS treatment pigs submitted experimental acute lung injury.
