ABSTRACT
Solea senegalensis (Kaup, 1858) is a commercially important flatfish species, belonging to the Pleuronectiformes order. The taxonomy of this group has long been controversial, and karyotype order presents high degree variability in diploid number, derived from chromosomal rearrangements such as Robertsonian fusions. Previously it proposed that large metacentric chromosome S. arises kind rearrangement proto-sex chromosome. In work, origin tested by Zoo-FISH technique applied two species Soleidae family (Dicologlossa cuneata Dagetichthys lusitanica), comparative genome analysis with Cynoglossus semilaevis. From karyotypic we were able determine complement comprising 2n = 50 (FN 54) D. 42 50) lusitanica. painting probe gave consistent signals four acrocentric chromosomes species; proved common pairs C. As result genomic analysis, up 61 genes annotated within thirteen Bacterial Artificial Chromosome clones analysed. These results confirm originated fusion provide new data about evolution particular, general.
