ABSTRACT
Biliary dilatation is a rare disease involving intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary tract abnormalities. With the development of imaging technology, an increasing number special cases have been diagnosed, which poses challenge to traditional classification method.A 50-year-old woman was admitted hospital due right upper quadrant pain for more than 10 days. The patient had previous episodes similar symptoms, were relieved after symptomatic treatment at local community hospital. After symptoms developed, she underwent computed tomography scan hospital, showed dilatation; thus, referred our further treatment. admission, her magnetic resonance examination also suggested dilatation, but abnormal signals found in duodenum. First, duodenal diverticulum considered. Later, endoscopic ultrasonography conducted, results that dilated herniated into This type lesion most closely classified as Todani III lesion. finally choledochectomy Roux‑en‑Y hepaticojejunostomy, postoperative pathology consistent with preoperative diagnosis. followed up approximately 2 years, no obvious complications found.The manifestations this case are relatively involve one undiscussed categories system; therefore, has certain clinical value. Moreover, there report experience literature.
