ABSTRACT
Knowledge of HIV status can be important in reducing the risk exposure. In a European sample men-who-have-sex-with-men (MSM), we aimed to identify factors associated with serostatus disclosure most recent anal intercourse (AI) partner. Behavioural data collected self-administered paper questionnaire. Biological specimens tested antibodies. Factors AI partner examined using bivariate multilevel multivariate logistic regression analysis. role Thirty-five percent (n = 1450) reported mutual their or disclosed having Most these disclosures occurred between steady partners (74%, n 1077). addition type diagnosis status, other positively model testing, no condom use, outness regarding sexual orientation. Disclosure rates lowest three south-eastern Following use (51%, 2099), (20%, 807) was second common prevention approach partner, usually resulting serosorting. A potential by 26% (111/432) antibody positive participants. 18% (20/111) episodes, an incorrect unknowingly communicated. Partner exposures equally distributed non-steady partners. The probability through condomless is substantially lower after compared non-disclosure. Incorrect knowledge one's contributes large proportion amongst MSM. Maintaining improving partners, frequent testing update awareness, increased particularly are confirmed as key aspects
