ABSTRACT
In Bangladesh, the targets on reduction of maternal mortality and utilization related obstetric services provided by skilled health personnel in Millennium Development Goals 5 remains unmet, progress neonatal lag behind that infant under-five mortalities, remaining as an essential issue towards achievement Sustainable (SDGs). As access to appropriate perinatal care is crucial reduce deaths, recently several mobile platform-based programs sponsored donor countries Non-Governmental Organizations have targeted child mortality. On other hand, good health-care necessary for development. Thus, we designed this implementation research improve targeting SDGs. This cluster randomized trial will be conducted Lohagora Narail District Dhamrai Dhaka District. Participants are pregnant women respective areas. The total sample size 3000 where 500 get Mother Child Handbook (MCH) messages using phone during pregnancy antenatal about one year each area. area education only MCH book. rest 1000 participants controlled; it means We randomly assigned intervention controlled based smallest administrative (Unions) Bangladesh. data collection through trained officers starting from February 2017 August 2018.
