ABSTRACT
Innate lymphoid cells (ILC) are part of a heterogeneous family haematopoietic effector which lack re-arranged antigen-specific receptors. They promote host defense and contribute to tissue metabolic homeostasis, wound healing immune surveillance. Their role in human cancer immunity is less defined, therefore we aimed identify the frequency phenotype distinct ILC groups various types cancer.Tissue samples peripheral blood were collected from patients undergoing surgical resection gastrointestinal breast tumours. Single cell suspension tumour was immediately obtained following surgery using dissociation. We observed significantly higher frequencies ILC2 (p value: 0.04) malignant group 1 0.001) Tumour infiltrating found show an activated with expression MHC-II, KLRG1, early activation marker CD69 CD44.Activated innate infiltrate tumours dependent on type location.
