ABSTRACT
A growing group of emerging adults in many countries around the globe are not incorporated into education system or labor market; these have received label "NEET: education, employment nor training". We describe mental health and socio-demographic characteristics who NEET from Mexico City (differentiating between homemakers not) compared to their peers studying, working both, a city which opportunities for youth limited. secondary objective, because often inconsistent inclusion criteria definitions NEET, was evaluate heterogeneity amongst terms perceived reasons being whether different associated with characteristics.
