ABSTRACT
Abstract Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of tumor M2-pyruvate kinase (TuM2-PK) and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) levels in both pleural effusion serum differential diagnosis benign malignant effusion. Methods This prospective study was conducted among 80 patients with (BPE group) 125 associated lung cancer (MPE group). The TuM2-PK CEA were measured by using sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay electrochemiluminescence. receiver-operating characteristic curve (ROC) analysis used to confirm cutoff efficiency CEA. Results serum, their ratio (P/S) higher MPE group than that BPE ( P < 0.05). In combined for superior either single detection. Conclusions detection has a high sensitivity might provide method rapid accurate patients.
