ABSTRACT
Numerous studies indicated that Intravesical prostatic protrusion is relevant to prognosis of LUTS, however, the confounding effect brought about by prostate volume, urethra anterior curvature angle and other factors makes it hard evaluate role intravesical in clinical observation. We proposed a fluid structural interaction analysis approach. 3D models were constructed based on MRI images, diameters calibrated with urodynamic data. Comparisons urine flow dynamics made between various degree protrusion, while pressure, diameter same among all rule out their effects.Simulation result showed decrement increment variation cross-sectional area for related protrusion. Such deformation would lead deterioration efficiency could compromise bladder outlet obstruction alleviation treatment. These results provided further evidence being an independent risk factor severity demonstrated be promising marker decision making.
