ABSTRACT
Hypertension and overweight are independent risk factors for cardiovascular disease, increase the of developing high blood pressure. ERBB3( also known as HER3) plays a considerable role in development diseases. However, effect ERBB3 levels hypertensive patients is unknown. The aim this study was to assess association between hypertension Chinese patients. We evaluated height, weight, pressure, biochemical indicators, 128 adults aged 33-79 years. Plasma were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, body mass index(BMI) calculated weight divided height squared. Participants allocated into three groups according pressure BMI: healthy control (CNT, n = 31; normotensive non-overweight), (HT, 33; with (HTO, 64; overweight). Statistical significance defined two-tailed P < 0.05.There no significant difference mean among groups, although linear decrease from CNT (1.13 ± 0.36), HT (1.03 HTO (0.84 0.26 ng/mL) observed men (P 0.007). Among drinking population, level significantly reduced group compared those (0.76 0.23 versus 1.18 0.37 1.20 0.30, respectively). negatively correlated diastolic (r= - 0.293, 0.012), smoking 0.47, 0.004), (r 0.387, 0.008). BMI drinkers, uric acid drinkers levels. Multivariate conditional logistic regression showed that plasma associated [odds ratio (OR) 0.054; 95 % confidence interval (CI): 0.007-0.412) (OR 0.002; CI: 0.000-0.101).ERBB3 may contribute pathogenesis patients, BMI, gender, all potentially modulating process.
