ABSTRACT
To estimate the prevalence and severity of menopausal symptoms anxiety/depression to assess differences according status among women living with HIV aged 45-60 years from cohort Spanish HIV/AIDS Research Network (CoRIS).Women were interviewed by phone between September 2017 December 2018 determine whether they had experienced anxiety/depression. The Menopause Rating Scale was used evaluate related menopause in three subscales: somatic, psychologic urogenital; 4-item Patient Health Questionnaire for Logistic regression models odds ratios (ORs) association status, other potential risk factors, presence psychological urogenital anxiety/depression.Of 251 included, 137 (54.6%) post-, 70 (27.9%) peri- 44 (17.5%) pre-menopausal, respectively. Median age onset 48 (IQR 45-50). proportions pre-, post-menopausal who any 45.5%, 60.0% 66.4%, Both post-menopause associated a higher likelihood having somatic (aOR 3.01; 95% CI 1.38-6.55 2.63; 1.44-4.81, respectively), while increased (2.16; 1.13-4.14) (2.54; 1.42-4.85).
