ABSTRACT
Abstract Background This study aimed to determine the impact of effective communication skills training intervention on marital burnout among married women referring health centers. Methods In this quasi-experimental study, 94 participants were selected from a descriptive 936 centers who had high rate and randomly divided experimental group (n = 47) control 47). The educational was designed performed in 7 sessions 45 min for group. two stages before after intervention, demographic sections, Pines Marital Burnout Scale used collect data. Data analyzed using SPSS software version 24 inferential test Chi-square, Paired sample t-test Wilcoxon test. Results There no significant difference between groups ( p > 0.05). Performing significantly reduced mean score total 60.51 (± 14.96) 51.82 11.90), subscales, including physical, mental emotional burnout. Also, improved skills, increased 85.12 15.86) 97.95 14.53) < 0.001). Conclusion Based positive reducing burnout, it is recommended that more attention should be paid enhancing these spouses pre-marital programs.
