Abstract Background There are differences of opinion regarding the selection most practical usability evaluation method among different methods. The present study aimed to compare two expert-based methods in order assess a nursing module as widely used Hospital Information System (HIS). Methods Five independent evaluators Heuristic Evaluation (HE) and Cognitive Walkthrough (CW) evaluate Shafa HIS.
