Resilience level and its relationship with hypochondriasis in nurses working in COVID-19 reference hospitals

ABSTRACT
A new coronavirus, called COVID-19, is an acute respiratory disease, which may arouse many psychological disorders since there no specialized knowledge about it. The present study aimed to investigate the level of resilience and its relationship with hypochondriasis in nurses working a COVID-19 reference hospital south Iran.This cross-sectional was conducted 2020, 312 participated using census method. Data collection tools were Conker-Davidson standard scale (CD-RISC) Evans Hypoglycaemia Awareness Questionnaire. analyzed t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple linear regression SPSS software version 23.The mean scores 72.38 ± 7.11 49.75 8.13, respectively, indicating moderate these two variables among nurses. Hypochondriasis 18.91, 61.22, 1.28% mild, moderate, severe, respectively. There significant negative between (r = - 0.214 P < 0.001). In this regard, control (P 0.001), positive acceptance change spiritual effects trust individual instincts perception competence 0.002) detected as predictors nurses' hypochondriasis.The had levels hypochondriasis. Promoting COVID-19and increasing information on how protect oneself others against disease along supportive packages from their managers are thus recommended.
