ABSTRACT
The estimated glucose disposal rate (eGDR) has been linked to incident cardiovascular disease (CVD) in individuals without diabetes. However, few studies have accounted for long-term cumulative eGDR exposure. aim of this study was explore whether independently associated with CVD over the age 50 years and This used data from China Health Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) (HRS). calculated as summation average each pair consecutive examinations multiplied by time between these two visits, years. outcome CVD. Cox proportional hazards regression models restricted cubic spline (RCS) were evaluate association A total 2430 participants CHARLS 2008 HRS included analysis. median at baseline 59 [IQR: 55-65 years], 1205 (49.59%) men. 64 57-70 705 (35.11%) RCS model showed a negative linear incidence (CHARLS: P < 0.001, nonlinearity = 0.248; HRS: 0.013, 0.121). After multivariate adjustment, higher levels lower risk (per SD, CHARLS: HR: 0.802, 95% CI: 0.716-0.898, 0.791, 0.665-0.940, pooled analysis: 0.799, 0.726-0.878). level an increased Continuous monitoring exposure time, based on consideration traditional factors, may prove beneficial early identification intervention high In regions limited healthcare resources, among ability access, process, understand health information services, offer improved clinical applicability.
