Factors influencing on health-related quality of life in South Korean with chronic liver disease

ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to determine health-related quality life (HRQoL) among chronic liver disease (CLD) subjects in South Korea using EuroQol five-dimension questionnaire (EQ-5D).The sample consisted 139 with CLD from the sixth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHNES VI). Data were analyzed SPSS program for descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test hierarchical multiple regression.Results indicated that marital status (P < 0.01), occupation basic livelihood security recipient 0.05), hepatocellular carcinoma subjective health depression 0.001) significant predictors HRQoL. behaviors (alcohol intake, sleep duration) variables insignificant.In conclusion, status, occupation, (BLSRS), (HCC), (SHS), confirmed be factors affecting We should provide continuous monitoring education adequate alcohol intake patients CLD.
