ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is the most common rheumatologic disease of childhood. The Existing guidelines for polyarticular JIA are typically based on data from non-African populations and may not fully address unique challenges faced in African settings. We aimed to produce updated diagnosis treatment children adolescents with juvenile (poly-JIA). Methods This study was conducted aim reaching a consensus among experts poly-JIA using Delphi technique. first scientific committee identified total 15 key clinical questions according PICO (Patient/Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) approach. A systematic review evidence-based literature this work. core steering group researchers clinicians expertise pediatric rheumatology. process used reach consensus. Results An online questionnaire sent expert panel that participated survey (100% response rate). recommendation points were identified, divided into two parts: five recommendations ten management. percentage those who agreed (fourth fifth place) ranged 80 100%. All statements had been upon wording (i.e., 75% respondents or strongly agreed).
