ABSTRACT
Despite the availability of psychosocial evidence-based practices (EBPs), treatment and outcomes for persons with mental disorders remain suboptimal. Replicating Effective Programs (REP), an effective implementation strategy, still resulted in less than half sites using EBP. The primary aim this cluster randomized trial is to determine, among not initially responding REP, effect adaptive strategies that begin External Facilitator (EF) or plus Internal (IF) on improved EBP use patient 12 months. This study employs a sequential multiple assignment (SMART) design build strategy. be implemented life goals (LG) patients mood across 80 community-based outpatient clinics (N N = 1,600 patients) from different U.S. regions. Sites REP (defined as <50% receiving ≥3 sessions) will receive additional support EF both EF/IF. Additionally, responsive continue alone provides technical expertise adapting LG routine practice, whereas on-site IF has direct reporting relationships site leadership practice. outcome health-related quality life; secondary include receipt sessions, symptoms, costs, organizational change. determine whether off-site versus addition improves uptake do respond REP. It also examine value delaying provision EF/IF despite EF. ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT02151331
