ABSTRACT
Abstract Background The identification of biomarkers predicting the treatment response rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is important. [ 68 Ga]Ga-FAPI-04 showed markedly increased uptake in joints patients with RA. purpose this study to investigate whether PET/CT can be a predictor Results Nineteen diagnosed RA prospective cohort were finally enrolled. Both total synovitis (TSU) and metabolic volume (MSV) 18 F]FDG responders significantly higher than those non-responders according Clinical Disease Activity Index (CDAI) Simplified (SDAI) criteria at 3-months’ follow-up ( P < 0.05). PET joint count (PJC) detected also CDAI = 0.016 0.045, respectively). clinical characteristics disease activity baseline did not show significant difference between non-responders, except CRP 0.035 0.033 SDAI criteria, PJC FAPI , TSU MSV > cutoff values successfully discriminated follow-up. Conclusion early non-responders. Trial registration ClinicalTrials. NCT04514614.
