ABSTRACT
Abstract The present paper studied the effects of calcination temperatures (200–800 °C) on appearance, mineral composition, and active SiO 2 content in attapulgite investigated before after chemically bonded water content, degree reaction cement paste, mechanical properties such as flexural strength, compressive splitting-tensile strength mortar. results indicate that temperature changes composition attapulgite, thereby affecting hydration activity cement-based materials. calcined at 500 °C (AT500) has best enhancement is most beneficial to dissolution , reaches 20.96%. contents samples incorporated with reduced AT500 28 d same control group. 78.61% days. Calcined clay can reduce energy consumption industry promote sustainable development clay.
