ABSTRACT
Major facial defects due to cancer or deformities can be reconstructed through microvascular osteocutaneous flaps. Hereby CAD/CAM workflows offer a possibility optimize reconstruct and reduce surgical time. We present retrospectiv observational study regarding the developement of an in-house workflow allowing accelerated fibula reconstruction without outsourcing.Workflow includes data acquisition computertomography head legs, segmentation virtual surgery. The surgery was transferred into guides prebent osteosynthesis plate. Those were sterilized used in surgery. The 30 cases. Minimum planning period took 4 days from CT surgery, average time 8 days. Planning could every Intraoperative complications osteotomy, assembly fixation did not occur. An for is feasible within few providing procedure even urgent
