ABSTRACT
Abstract Interventional radiology (IR) has evolved rapidly, but the clinical integration of interventional radiologists not kept pace with technical advancements. This trial will address a gap in literature by providing robust investigation into specific measures for enhancing role radiologists, potential implications improving patient experiences and outcomes. The single-center randomized controlled include 428 patients undergoing IR procedures. control group receive information about procedure from ordering physician, while experimental have an additional consultation radiologist be shown procedure-specific explanatory videos. primary outcomes are patients’ knowledge, satisfaction communication, anxiety.
