ABSTRACT
Abstract Porous asphalt pavement is a sustainable infrastructure tool used to benefit urban resilience. This paper summarizes the design, construction, and maintenance practices of porous pavements (PAPs) specific cold regions. It includes discussions on structural design considering frost depth heave subgrade soils, material selection for adequate freeze-thaw durability, construction PAPs in weather, winter snow ice control, performance deterioration caused by other activities such as studded tires. Distinguished from review works this topic, major contributions employ case studies address concerns These projects have demonstrated success using regions practitioners can refer these new installation
