ABSTRACT
This prospective study evaluated components of a comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) to identify rates and predictors falls in older patients. Fall scores on the CGA were compared among adults aged 70 or three groups: patients with cancer receiving chemotherapy, not community-dwelling without cancer. Older chemotherapy group hypothesized fall significantly more often than those nonchemotherapy group. Among cancer, Activities Daily Living Scale significant predictor falls. The only domain found be predictor; therefore, research is needed better understand risk Nurses should conduct assessments measures functional status as included CGA.
