A unified model including non-Darcy flow and viscoelastic mechanisms in tight rocks

ABSTRACT
Tight porous media have extremely low porosities and permeabilities, which can induce low-fluid mobility a significant non-Darcy flow phenomenon. We build unified mathematical model considering the seepage viscoelasticity mechanism, includes two new parameters related to mechanism. call this viscoelastic (NDV) model. Numerical experiments reveal that effects on dispersion attenuation of P S waves. find waves depend initial amplitude. A comparison is conducted between experimental data for tight in (seismic) frequency band numerical results NDV The demonstrates predict velocity oil gas reservoirs more accurately.
